Overview

Foreign students and young professionals from around the world are able to study and conduct research in the United States as part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program. There are over 160 countries worldwide that participate in Fulbright. The Fulbright project awards approximately 4,000 scholarships to foreign students each year.

US Fulbright Scholarship 2021

A binational Fulbright Commission/Foundation or a U.S. Fulbright Office administers the Fulbright Foreign Student Program. Diplomatic missions. All academic disciplines, except for clinical medicine, are eligible to apply for the 2022 Fulbright Student Program. The United States Department of State is funding this scholarship program for international students. Students with interest in energy, water, agriculture, public health, education, social sciences, journalism and mass communication, arts and culture management, including heritage conservation and museum studies, urban and regional planning, environmental studies, security/peace studies, and data science are especially encouraged to apply for the program.

Benefits

There is no restriction on the choice of university for a scholar. As well, all scholars who participate in the scholarship will receive a decent stipend of up to $2000 on a monthly basis for the entire duration of the program. Through this course, students will be able to explore various states in the United States.

 Eligibility

  • The program is open to all Pakistanis. There must be good academic records for a candidate to be competitive.
  • During the application process, candidates need to provide all of their academic transcripts and degrees.
  • The candidate must submit a graduate record examination (GRE) score when submitting an application.
  • Candidates for PhD positions are required to submit a proposal, a statement of purpose, and a resume.

How to apply?

All interested candidates should apply online by creating an online application account on the official website. A candidate must be included in a graduate record examination before or during an application (GRE). An applicant is instructed to fill out all those areas with correct information in several parts, from personal information to required papers.

Deadline

There is only a little over one month left until the last day for Pakistani students to apply for the US Fulbright Scholarship 2020-21 i.e.  9 June.

It is highly encouraged that women, individuals with disabilities, and individuals from Sukkur, FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab apply for this position.
